SKYPEC AND TURKMENISTAN AIRLINES SIGN CONTRACT EXTENSION IN VIETNAM, EXPANDING BILATER AL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

    During this working visit, Mr. Dovlet Bedirov, Regional Manager of Turkmenistan Airlines OJSC, represented the airline. He was warmly welcomed at Skypec’s headquarters by the company’s Sales Management team. At the meeting, the representative from Turkmenistan Airlines expressed appreciation for the effective cooperation between the two sides over the past years and affirmed the airline’s desire to further strengthen and elevate the partnership in the coming time.

   Turkmenistan Airlines launched its direct flight operations to Vietnam in 2022. In the initial phase, the airline has been operating two weekly passenger flights to Ho Chi Minh City, along with two monthly cargo flights from Middle Asia and Europe to Hanoi, meeting the growing demand for both passenger and freight transportation in many areas.

  This contract extension reaffirms the trust and long-standing cooperation between Turkmenistan Airlines and Skypec in the field of aviation fuel supply. It also opens up promising new opportunities for future collaboration. Both sides expressed their commitment to expanding operations in the Vietnamese market and enhancing service quality to meet the increasing expectations of customers.

  The extension not only demonstrates Skypec’s credibility and capacity in ensuring consistent fuel supply at major airports, but also highlights Vietnam’s growing importance as a destination within the international network of Central Asian airlines.

  Turkmenistan Airlines is the first airline from Central Asia to establish regular direct flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — underscoring the significance of the Vietnamese market in the airline’s international expansion strategy. This cooperation is expected to further boost trade, tourism, and air connectivity between Vietnam and Turkmenistan, while also reinforcing Skypec’s pivotal role in the regional aviation fuel supply chain.
