SKYPEC - SINOPEC HONG KONG LIMITED: ALMOST 30 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP IN JET FUEL SUPPLY

   Sinopec is today one of the world's leading energy and petrochemical groups, holding a significant position in the global aviation fuel supply chain. In Vietnam, Skypec supplies Jet A-1 to airlines operating flights to and from every airport across the country, while also extending its supply operations to a number of international airports.
  The partnership between the two companies was established in 1998 and has been maintained without interruption for 28 years. Throughout this period, Sinopec has consistently been one of Skypec's key strategic partners in the import of Jet A-1 fuel, contributing to the stability and continuity of supply – a decisive factor in an industry that demands stringent quality standards and precise delivery schedules. Sustained cooperation through successive cycles of volatility in the regional energy market has built a solid foundation of trust between the two parties.

   As part of the programme, the delegation visited the Northern Region Branch and the Noi Bai Airport Fuel Depot. There, the delegation received an overview of Skypec's receiving and supply capabilities at Noi Bai Airport – one of the key nodes in the Company's infrastructure network, directly serving the operations of domestic and international airlines in the northern region.

 

   The two sides subsequently held a working session in Meeting Room N2 at the Skypec Northern Region Branch. Representatives of Skypec and Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited reviewed the results of their cooperation to date, assessed developments in the regional aviation fuel market, and discussed directions for coordination in the period ahead. Both sides agreed to maintain regular channels of communication to ensure supply stability and to explore opportunities for broader and deeper cooperation.

   Immediately following the working session at the Northern Region Branch, the delegation proceeded to the apron to observe aircraft refuelling operations first-hand. The delegation witnessed the refuelling of flight VN251 by a Skypec refuelling truck. Observing both refuelling methods in practice gave the delegation a concrete perspective on the operating procedures, safety standards and service quality that Skypec applies.

   The visit concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The programme provided an opportunity for the partner to gain a clearer understanding of Skypec's operational capabilities in practice, thereby strengthening confidence in the bilateral relationship. Both sides expressed their conviction that Skypec and Sinopec will continue to be reliable partners, moving forward together towards sustainable development in the years ahead.
