SKYPEC‘S TRAINING COURCES ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
On 7 July 2021, the Vietnam Air Petrol One-Member Company Ltd. – SKYPEC, in coordination with VIETTEL ACADEMY - a subsidiary of the Military Industrial-Telecommunication Group, organized a training course on basic knowledge of digital transformation for the company with participants being managers at various levels of SKYPEC
Participating in the training course on the SKYPEC side were Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan – SKYPEC’s Party Secretary and CEO, and other members of the Presidency Board, Director of the Control Department, Chairman of the company’s Trade Union and office managers. On the VIETTEL ACADEMY side was Doctor Bui Quang Tuyen - Director General of the Academy acting as the speaker.
The training course was also organized online with participants being directors of SKYPEC’s departments and equivalent positions, heads of units, heads of centers, chiefs of professional offices and equivalent positions.
In the opening address, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan- SKYPEC’s Party Secretary and CEO stressed: Since 2020 up to now, the Covid-19 pandemic has been dragging on with complication, which has caused paralysis to the world air transport. In Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines and its subsidiaries have also been in blockade and in severe difficulties. Such reality has triggered the idea that the traditional business practice has to be changed as soon as possible and digital transformation is inevitable and has to be carried out immediately. Doing business with a wide range of products at the time of digital economy is an ever urgent need and also in conformity of the Party’s and the State’s standpoint and guiding policy that have been spread out to all authority levels and to all business enterprises that need to carry out digital transformation work. Vietnam Airlines has adopted its Decision on the Implementation of the Strategy for 2021-2025. Right after Vietnam Airlines adopted its Decision, SKYPEC, realizing the importance and the urgency of the digital transformation work, has also urgently included the work in its Decision on Leadership for the third quarter of 2021. Digital transformation and change of thought belong to a new antecedent and trigger a new beginning of a long lasting future of SKYPEC.

To make a good beginning for the carrying out of the digital transformation work, the training course, right from its first week, started to implement the above mentioned Decision on the Leadership for the third quarter of 2021. The knowledge acquired from the training course would be spread out to all staff members of the company and would be applied in all sections directly or indirectly related to the business and production activities, thus enabling the change of thought from traditional business practice to digitalized business one, the evolution from an apparent business environment to a digitalized one so as to be suitable to the real situation.
